It's pretty good, actually. I don't listen to the Decemberists much but I like what I have heard.

Regarding the cover, it's got a country rock ballad feel instead of the reggae vibe and some different lyrics, but overall a pretty faithful rendition: slide guitar leads, very Deadlike 2 guitar interactions... some riffs very very close to what Bob and Jerry play (like Bob palm-muted riff during chorus and Jerry solos).

What do y'all think?

I've been a fan of The Decemberists for a while and I was hoping they didn't mess it up. And my fears have been put to rest, it sounds pretty good.
